The Role

BGC is seeking an experienced intermediate engineering geologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and 10 - 15 years relevant work experience since graduation. The suitable candidate should have the ability to work in multi-disciplined project teams on projects working in remote, challenging environments, and a desire to travel and work in remote conditions.

Candidates shall possess an undergraduate degree in geology/engineering geology and a post- graduate degree in geological engineering. Eligible for professional registration as a Professional Geologist in BC. Strong understanding in geotechnical engineering and engineering geology as well as proven communication skills in English are essential. Project management skills and a willingness to supervise and mentor junior staff are also desirable. Candidates must have a valid driver's license.


Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with projects situated throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia.
